This is an implementation variation of Jim Wendlers 5-3-1 strength training program. The app has 4 main features, they are as follows:
- Start a strength cycle
Choose a movement, enter your current 1RM, choose a duration and StrongOwl does the rest. Cycles can last one-three months and include auto-incrementing 1RMs at the 4 week mark.
- Track your progress
As you complete more and more cycles, your 1RM should increase. We hope to help show this happening by estimating your current 1RM based off your most recent lift and the number of reps with it.
- Jot down notes as you go
It may be nice to take a few notes here or there. Easily create a new note and save your thoughts from the days cycle.
- Quickly find a %
Enter a weight and rep count, and find 95%-40% of that newly calculated 1RM.
